On the occasion of the sixth Chinese Brand Day, the "Central Enterprise Equipment Manufacturing Innovation Achievement Cloud Exhibition" has launched an online exhibition mode. This "Cloud Exhibition" attracted 21 central enterprises, including China National Nuclear Corporation, Aviation Industry, China Shipbuilding Industry, and China National Machinery Corporation, showcasing a series of breakthrough and iconic achievements made by central enterprises in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing.
As the core component of wind turbines, the main bearing of 7MW offshore wind power has complex and variable loads, high reliability and accuracy requirements for bearings, and a design life of over 25 years. The technical difficulty is high, and it has long been monopolized by foreign bearing enterprises. Through multiple experiments and continuous breakthroughs, the Axis Research Institute has successively overcome technical difficulties in bearing material selection, heat treatment process improvement, cage optimization design and processing, and successfully developed 7MW high-power wind turbine spindle bearings. The bearings were installed and operated on January 4, 2022, solving the bottleneck problem of high-power spindle bearings completely relying on imports.
The successful development of this product has improved the reliability design and manufacturing technology of wind turbine spindle bearings at the Shaping Research Institute, filled the gap in domestic large MW wind turbine spindle bearings with this structural size, eliminated the safety supply risks of key components in the wind power industry, and laid a technical foundation for the industrial development of high-power wind turbine spindle bearings.
